From my home town of Flint (the 13th century castle is the backdrop to the image above, and the pivotal location in my latest book – The King’s Daughter) to the beautiful and abundant island of Anglesey, via the rugged beauty of the mountains of Snowdonia, I have always been fascinated with the land of my birth.
Its history is littered with great historic figures, bloody battles, heroic deeds, acts of treachery, villainous usurpers and violent foreign invaders.
